STAAR Information

I hope you are doing well! This bulletin is to inform you that our 3rd-5th graders are scheduled to take the Math STAAR on Tuesday, May 11, and the Reading STAAR on Wednesday, May 12. Our 5th graders are scheduled to take the Science STAAR on Thursday, May 13. The attached letter has more information. All students must test in person. Please have your student at the school by 7:30 AM for drop-off on the testing date. You will follow regular traffic flow and drop-off procedures. Students need to wear a mask and will have their temperature taken when they arrive. Your student does not need to wear a school uniform if they do not have one, but please make sure they are in school appropriate clothes (no sandals, no shorts, no sleeveless shirts, etc.).

They should bring a jacket, book to read, a refillable water bottle, and a snack/lunch (if they are not going to have a school lunch). Parents can pick their student up at 1:30 PM; however, if the student starts their test late or has extra time, they may not be done testing at 1:30 PM. Parents will be able to wait in the parking lot.

Students will be provided sanitized Chromebooks and headphones to use for testing. They do not need to bring their own.

If they are not available to come on May 11, there will be make-up testing offered until June 11, 2021. More information will be shared with parents on scheduling makeups if needed.

Please complete this survey in order to let us know that you are bringing your student:
